This series contains examination reports and applicant eligibility lists for specific positions under commission jurisdiction. Supporting documents include memoranda listing Civil Service Commission employees who prepared or supervised examinations; eligibility and appointment registers; and rosters listing test failures or incompletions. Commission forms (frequently signed by Chief of the Examining Division and by the commission president) record examination results, revealing evaluative weights allotted for each test section; position approval and announcement dates; application filing dates; and test dates.
